Alumni Updates: Shane Wolf and Rishabh Sud


Angel Academy alumnus Shane Wolf’s painting from his Songs of Sagesse triptych (100 x 195 cm.) will be part of the ARC Purchase Award travelling exhibition. This starts at the Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) in Barcelona (Nov. 17th to Dec. 28th) and finishes at the prestegious Salmagundi Club in New York City (Jan. 18th to Feb. 4th). For those who do not know it: the Museum of Modern Art is an international Modern Realist museum.

There is a new article in GoAir airline's magazine, Go Getter, on AAA alumnus Rishabh SudGo Getter is a national magazine, read throughout India.


Rishabh has been building a successful portrait business in India and has received a major commission from the Maharaja Hanuwant Singh of Nabha to create portraits of his great-great-grandfather, the Maharaja Hira Singh, in the traditional Indian manner. This and other such portraits are featured in the article.

Auction of Jean-Antoine Norbert's Drawing



This Thursday, Oct. 15th, Angel Academy alumnus Jean-Antoine Norbert’s portrait drawing is to be in an auction at Sotheby’s in New York. The auction is to benefit the New York Academy of Art, where Jean-Antoine is doing some post-graduate studies.

Alumna Update: Inga Loyeva

AAA alumna Inga Loyeva has just finished her Master of Fine Arts (with Merit) from Central St Martin's, in London. While there, she was also teaching anatomy at a private London art school.

Upon graduation, she was shortlisted for the prestigious NOVA award and was invited to participate in SOHO's Fluorescent Arts Festival. During the summer, she exhibited in a range of other exhibitions around London, including Capsule at the Embassy Tea Gallery (curated by Made in Arts, London), Century Private Club (curated by Leo Babsky), FLOCK at GX Gallery, etc.

Also earlier in the year, Inga exhibited at the Victoria&Albert Museum, which is her most prestigious venue so far.

Alumnus Update: Harry Camarda

Congratulations to AAA alumnus Harry Camarda!! He was recently awarded best-of-show at the Manayunk-Roxborough Art Center’s 7th annual juried exhibition for his Portrait of Emma, oil on canvas, 30 x 27.5 cms (12 x 11 inches).
